Get involved.
There are many ways to volunteer, from creating worksheets and videos to putting together presentations and conducting research.
PROVIDE RESOURCES
Volunteers can provide links to improve the Facebook page and scholarly resources that we can use for the website. Furthermore, people can also create educational videos for YouTube and proposals of programs for schools to use in order to utilize MANGO.
ADVERTISE CAUSE
We are looking for volunteers who are willing to put out the word to promote MANGO. This can consist of anything from creating videos, flyers, and brochures to attending school board meetings or speaking with local community agencies about what we do.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We are looking for people board members for the following roles:
Multicultural Education Model Planning
Human Rights Education Model Planning
Civic and Public Policy Education Model Planning
Environmental and Wildlife Education Model Planning
Career Education Education Model Planning
Technology Education Model Planning
Media Literacy Education Model Planning
COLLECT DONATIONS
Because many students come from backgrounds of poverty, it is necessary for volunteers to be available to collect items such as food and household goods. Moreover, school supplies are in need because these are often cut in education budgets and teachers often buy them.
Reading Materials
Sending books is one of the most important ways that we can make an impact on the world. These books can be for college students or children from elementary school and middle school, all the way to high school. Furthermore, we accept books that are not specific to school. The books that we are most interested in embrace the MANGO Education Model. In otherwords, books that promote a variety of different cultures, embrace art, advocate on behalf of nature, promote grammar building, and help with economic empowerment.
We are also looking for donations of magazines that don't contain sexual content, violence, profanity, or drugs. Magazines related to STEM are highly appreciated.
